Contained within this gallery are both pencil sketches of children and watercolor portraits of adults. The success of a portrait lies in the facial expressions being accurate, which can be very challenging. Kathleen spends a great deal of time on eyes, nose, and mouth to duplicate the features of the subject and add life to the painting.
